Do I automatically get a 1 year warranty for my Sansa View even if I bought it from a merchant from Amazon?
So, my 16gb view is messed up(not physical damage and not my fault), and I want to RMA ( Return Merchandise Authorization) it. First of all, do I need a warranty to do so? Also I bought it around June 2008 from a merchant ( Electronics Expo) from Amazon, do I still get a 1 year warranty from Sandisk? Also if any of you have done the RMA process can you give me some tips on how to do it because I have never done it. Like how to convince Tech Support to authorize it? Thanks
check the papers
usually almost anything these days comes with a one year manufacturers warranty especially electronics. so I’m not sure how it’s supposed to work as in when the warranty starts to take effect.
so check the papers, check the internet, or just call and ask
warranties usually only cover manufacturer defects so if you didn’t drop it or spill anything on it or anything it just stopped working then it should be covered
